The short answer: A smaller day done the same way is the Week 2 reflection: fewer steps, lighter training, same standard. The size flexes; the shape never does.
The Sunday reflection
Week 2 of Frankie J's documented content system ends with this reflection: "A smaller day — fewer steps, lighter session — done the same way. Standard doesn't shrink; the day does." It's the floor doctrine stated as a reflection: on the days life cuts the volume, the standard keeps its shape at reduced size.
Shape over size
The wake time holds. The walk happens, shorter. The session happens, lighter. The scorecard gets its honest entry. Nothing is at full size and nothing is zero — which is the entire difference between a hard week and a quit. Men break standards by treating size and shape as the same thing.
When to use it
Travel days, sick kids, brutal work weeks, the body asking for mercy: declare the smaller day the night before, on purpose, and grade it as a kept day — because it is one. The floor only works when it's chosen in advance, not negotiated at 6 AM.
